PRAYER FOR ASH WEDNESDAY

Grant, Lord, that we

Christ's soldiers,

may enter on this Lenten campaign

with holy fasting,

so that self-denial may strengthen us

in our warfare with the spirits of evil.

Through Christ our Lord.
